Transland Group HQ moves to new custom-built facility

Kildare, May 2008:

The headquarters of Transland Group has relocated to a new custom-built premises in Naas, Co. Kildare.

Situated on a 1-acre site, the 20,000 sq. ft. new facility has been designed to reflect the Group’s continuing focus on UK-Ireland pallet distribution. A state-of-the-art cantilever canopy covers 3 sides of the building, and a huge transport yard offers greatly improved cross-docking facilities.

The new site also boasts 15,000 sq. ft. of high-eaves warehousing space to facilitate customised logistics projects. It also provides additional office space, meeting rooms and driver facilities. The building is located adjacent to M7 motorway, offering easy access to Dublin as well as all major road networks. The Group’s previous HQ was in Tallaght in South Dublin

Managing Director Kieran Conlon said:
“This move represents a new stage of development for Transland Group, and a massive investment in the overall future of the company. The new location allows us to further develop our nationwide pallet service, and the improved facilities will enable us to handle much more freight than before.”
